Today's my second day of work. Though i was told to follow my senior ard and try to pick up as much as possible, he insist that i sit in the cubicle doing nothing as he is in a rush to complete his migration. hmmm.... shrug. maybe for now, i should just listen to him and chill, doing nothing.
the good part is, he let me have a PC to surf net, bad news is some sites as well as Facebook are restricted. good also, i can use this time to complete some left over issues provided that i can remember what are those.
Apparently blogging site isnt restricted nor any of the lego sites and forums.
After sort of running out of sites to surf, a tot came into my head, its been a long time since i went into the gachapon forum, so i did.
When i see a post to sell Sega toys and orphaned posts by alf, something sort of snapped and i swiped the forum clean. lets face it, a person cant run the forum alone and the sad part is, unlikely lego, gachapon interest fades away after a while, well, at least for most ppl. maybe one day, i'll revamp the forum. maybe one day, i can get enough ppl who are interested to do something together.
Having too much free time have certain advantages. first you start to think things you like to think. like what shall i buy for my next lego? what's next to turn for gachapons? how should i spend my next pay? well...
what shall i buy for my next lego? : Green Grocer, Cafe Corner, Fire Brigade, havent got these yet due to the lack of fundings and by end of these year, prices of these sets are going to go crazy. 2010 sets can sort of wait ba.
what's next to turn for gachapons? Anizo 22, One Piece strong islands mascot 1 and 2, Yujin Pictorial Library Crabs reissue.
how should i spend my next pay? er... if i get all those above, i think this HALF month's pay will already be knocked out, not to mention that my orders from bricksy, an ebay lego seller, havent been accounted for yet.
Oh yah, i might wanna start on
S.I.C. Kiwami Tamashii (Ultimate Soul): A smaller & more affordable version of existing S.I.C. figures. SIC are simply too big to be stored. not to mention the price. currently i already have the Hibiki series of this (Kamen Rider Hibiki, Kamen Rider Zanki and Kamen Rider Todoroki), only short of Kamen Rider Ryuki, Kamen Rider Knight, Kamen Rider Faiz, Kamen Rider Faiz (Axel Form)Kamen Rider Faiz (Blaster Form), Kamen Rider Faiz Auto Vajin
After thinking all the good tots, you start to look at the bad one also. hmmmm...
My bills, insurance payments, debts, think i'll need to look on only the bare neccessity to get and have all the bad stuff cleared first. legos will have to wait, gachapons will need to get first. SIC... hmmm... if i can get it below 20 for each, i might, but then again, i might not. actual SIC are double the size (triple the price) and have so much more accessories and posability. Hmmm... the only SICs i have are the Hibiki series. only 3 anyway.

First day of work.
9-10am : HR talk about company direction and stuff
10-12.30pm : A tour ard IT Service Dept, introdution of the staff, then i was handed a engineer's handbook and told to read it. guess you should have guess, it was quite boring.
12.30-1.30pm : lunch
1.30-5.30pm : finally something to do. did some cloning of PCs, upgrading ram and repacking.
5.30-6pm : Chill at the pantry til time to go. alot of biscuits and they have a nice Nescafe vending machine with EXCELLENT milo.
Home by 7pm. somehow times seems to be longer. hmmm... length of time. didnt seems to do anything constructive also. haiz... things are sort of funny without irin bombarding my phone. miss her.

Woke up groggy today and kept fading in and out of sleep.
End up skipping service.
Went out to PS to look for yan's bink bink stitch Iphone cover. no luck.
went over to CSC to look, also no luck. Left some stuff with Priss to sell. saw some stuff which i'm interested to get. but curbed it and went over to Vivo.
Bought Don's house warming gift and went over to cantoment. sat in the police station to chill while waiting for the time to go over as well as the rest to arrive.
The food was good. the view from the sky garden was fantastic.

Today i went for Service in the morning. then went for career fair and then went to serve.
Went home and went to visit Ranna. Today i first hold Heidi, my niece. she is so small, so cute. she gave all kinds of expressions when i carried her and even opened her mouth and sort of laughed.
Think its time i get to work and do stuff.
have to list things on my Ebay and blogshop.
redo my resume and stuff.
repack my gachapons again. >p i just love packing and repacking my stuff.
Recently been watching alot of drama. Star Trek:The Next Generation. House. are the 2 that really got my attention. Moral Issues. Different ways of looking at life.

Update before chinese new year.
Went for an interview today. Ma does seems to be happier hearing about it.
Been spending the past few days re-arranging my room and repacking some toys. will be needing to spend abit more time to sort out stuff more throughly.

Star Trek: The Next Generation - Season 2 Episode 9 - The Measure of a Man
Recently been watching alot of Star Trek: The Next Generation.
This particular episode intrigue me.
In this episode, a Star Fleet officer request to disassemble Data, Lt. Commander Data, an android. Flatly, Data refused as he find that the officer's knowledge is somehow lacking and will be risky if he were to be disassembled.
Capt Picard defended Data but the officer had papers prepare so he can transfer Data to be under him. The last resort will be for Data to resign from Star Fleet.
A few issues start to come up.
Is Data a personnel or property of Star Fleet?
Does Data have a right to choose his own fate?
What will happen if Data is mass-produced?

First post of the year, but not on the first day of the year. hahaha lets go through things one at the time, shall we?
Career:
Insurance wise - i'll need to reconsider.
Basically, Kokwah cant make me payback anything i own him since he had told Raymond before that such are so-called recuitment risks. shrug. some thing that i'm not happy over but i just dont feel like talking about it.
Own Seagull $10 from the money he placed with me for gachapons, but since Guns 13 is already out, he'll be the one owning me 2 bucks. >p
IFA1 bascially just hope to enlist an experinced agent at no cost. free wowo to hunt for you.
IFA2 offered me another "EP" as well as more training.
I think before i go into insurance again, i wish to get my financial back into shape which is why i'm looking for work and doing up my resume.
Career/Hobby:
After compilating all the cost and profit, i have made a profit of 300. HU HU HU~! considering that the first 6 month is more on monitoring buying patterns, i think in a sense, more profit will be seen, provided that they dont decide to increase the rental. At the same time, Mond has placed some Lego for me to sell in my box. Hopefully this will draw Lego fan to my box so that i can use the box to offload my Lego extras. why? Lego decided to release their own form of tikam.
Hobbies:
Collecting gachapons still. downloaded a whole new bunch of documentaries. recently is more involved in Lego-collecting and building. alot of new Lego friends with many things to learn from. they study history to see how medival knight/castles are created and try to recreate them.

Still with Irin. >p 5 years and still counting.
Present:
Doing spring cleaning and consolidating my toys. hopefully will be able to work out a format to list them all on ebay smoothly.
After doing some rearranging with farmville, i decided to do the same with my room. Took out the un-usable(just need a new cartridge to solve the issue, but dont wanna spend) printer out and store it under Ranna's used desk. will be relocating the power extention to my middle desk. will clean up the plywood thingy further. might be putting wheels on my square table.
Still thinking on various issues like how my career should go, why does Kokwah say that 100% profit margin is hard to achieve? been following Raymond to classes on investment and looking at various stratergy and stuff. even there, they say that its hard to achieve 100% profit. is investing in stock market less profitable that doing your own business? hmmm...
